Round cartoon styles on Behance - Art Research

These are just some random cartoon styles I found on Behance which were one offs from creatives. They all have a rounded art style to them with and use simple shapes to make up their characters and landscapes and flat colours with no texture or patterns.

This artist has created a two simple illustrations featuring characters with rounded shape and simple shading. The left image is for a birthday card and the right image is a t-shirt design. I like the shading used for the card as it is shaded using dots that go from a large to small size, this reminds me a little bit of shading used in comics. The t-shirt design uses shading with just simple shapes and blocks of colour.

I came across these badge designs on behance which are simple shapely illustrations of landscape. I think to save me a lot of time on backgrounds I should do my backgrounds and scenes in a simple style like this using basic shapes. This will make it much easier to animate as well as I won't have to make many changes to create movement and for something like a car driving through a scene I can just make a repetitive landscape that loops.
